She enjoyed her life till the very end
My grandma Riedel was one of a kind
The proof is living in those she left behind
She raised three amazing people, two girls and a boy
She had a sense of humor that anyone would enjoy
My grandma had a heart made of gold
A piece of her in our hearts we will always hold
She endured through the loss of her husband much too young
I cannot even begin to imagine how much that must have stung
And finally after so many years of being alone
She is finally reunited with him and God in their eternal home
Although losing such a special person is not easy in the least
The number of beautiful angels has now increased
I'm confident she's looking over us, beaming with a smile
And that she's completely convinced that it was all more than worthwhile
My grandma was the best grandma a girl could ask for
She was loving, generous, caring, thoughtful, and so much more
Every sweet memory a keepsake with which I’ll never part
A piece of you, grandma, I will always keep close in my heart

I love you grandma. I will never forget the amazing woman that you were. I know you are still with us, keeping watch and comforting us during this hard time. I can't even begin to imagine the joy and peace you are experiencing up in heaven with our Savior. I cannot wait to join you someday. Oh how sweet our reunion will be. Until then, I will keep you close to my heart and aspire to be as great of a mother and grandmother as you were. I love you, forever and ever.
